Production Associate

Pay: $18.00/hour

Schedule: First Shift | Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

About the Role

We are seeking reliable and motivated Production Associates to join our growing manufacturing team. In this hands-on role, you will be involved throughout the production process, from mixing raw materials and operating manufacturing equipment to kiln operations, quality inspection, and final packaging. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy physical work, working with their hands, and being part of a team that takes pride in producing high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare production batches by lifting and mixing raw materials using large-scale mixing equipment.
• Follow established formulas, work instructions, and quality standards to ensure accurate batch preparation.
• Operate 35-ton and 50-ton presses to form products while monitoring production quality and consistency.
• Load materials into molds and safely remove finished parts for the next stage of production.
• Load and unload ceramic products from kilns while following all safety and handling procedures.
• Carefully handle and inspect products throughout the manufacturing process to prevent damage and maintain quality standards.
• Perform visual quality inspections and package finished products for shipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist with order preparation and general production duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, production, machine operation, assembly, or general labor experience preferred.
• Experience working with kilns or ceramic manufacturing is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working with machinery and following detailed production processes.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.

This is a Permanent position based out of East Rochester, NY.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
