Auto Repair Technician/Mechanic

We are seeking an Auto Repair Technician/Mechanic to diagnose, maintain, and repair a mixed vehicle fleet in an independent repair shop. This role performs a broad range of automotive services, from preventive maintenance and safety inspections to complex mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic repairs, while maintaining accurate repair documentation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle concerns across a mixed vehicle fleet.
• Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections.
• Service and repair brake systems.
• Complete engine and transmission repairs.
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems.
• Inspect and repair vehicle suspension components.
• Document inspections, diagnoses, repairs, and services accurately.

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in automotive repair.
• Experience with automotive diagnostics and OBD-II scanning.
• Knowledge of brake systems, engine repair, electrical systems, and vehicle suspension.
• Experience with technical documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
