Rigger – GCP Paper Facility

NCW is hiring 2 experienced Rigger for a new building project at the GCP Paper facility. This position involves assisting with daily rigging operations on-site. Candidates must have a valid NCCCO Rigger certification and OSHA 10 certification. Local candidates only; no per diem is available. English- and Spanish-speaking candidates are welcome.

Job Type: Short-Term Project
Hourly Rate: $25/hour
Per Diem: Not provided – local candidates only
Expected Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; Saturday, 8:00 AM–1:00 PM
Start Date: ASAP, pending orientation
Duration: Approximately 2 months, with work expected to continue through December 25 if needed

Required Skills:

• Valid NCCCO Rigger certification
• OSHA 10 certification
• Knowledge of rigging procedures and jobsite safety
• Ability to communicate in English or Spanish

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily rigging operations on-site
• Support the safe movement and handling of materials and equipment
• Follow rigging procedures and site-specific safety protocols
• Maintain a safe and organized work area

Experience & Certifications:

• NCCCO Rigger certification required
• OSHA 10 certification required
• Background check and drug test documentation should be available if needed
