Job Description
Are you looking for a job that's meaningful, fun & rewarding? Look no further than Goodwill! We are hiring for a full-time Retail Store Assistant Manager in Grand Island! Out of town travel may be required may be required during the training process.
This position would have the opportunity to move into a Store Manager Position with high performance.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WOULD:
- Assist the Store Manager with all tasks necessary for an efficient operation
- Assist in training and motivating store personnel, striving for an enjoyable workplace
- Assist the Store Manager in creating an exciting shopping environment
- Serve as a positive role model to employees
- Perform work activities in conformance to the Goodwill Values Statement, which includes the values of Respect, Integrity, Compassion, Stewardship, Learning, Teamwork, and Entrepreneurial Spirit
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:
- Two (2) years of experience working with the public is preferred
- Supervisory experience
- Valid Nebraska driver’s license and meet insurance requirements is required
