Maintenance Technician

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform routine property maintenance and preventative maintenance at our apartment community
• Troubleshoot and repair appliances, HVAC units, plumbing, and electrical systems
• Apartment unit work orders and turns
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used to ensure compliance and facilitate future servicing
• Respond promptly to equipment failures or system malfunctions to minimize downtime and operational disruptions
• Respond to emergency on calls promptly and efficiently

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician, multifamily apartment community highly preferred
• Strong maintenance knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance repair, HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide team members during maintenance tasks
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to mechanical work and equipment handling
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, and appliance servicing and repairs required
• Experience in property maintenance required
• Availability to work emergency on call rotations required
• HVAC/EPA certification required
• CPO certification preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish/English speaking) preferred
