Cataloochee Ski Area is seeking friendly, enthusiastic, and guest-focused individuals to join our Front Desk Guest Services team. As one of the first people our guests meet, you'll play a key role in creating an exceptional experience from the moment they arrive.

About Cataloochee Ski Area:
Nestled in the beautiful mountains of Maggie Valley, North Carolina, Cataloochee Ski Area offers an unforgettable winter experience featuring 18 slopes and trails, a freestyle terrain park, state-of-the-art snowmaking, and breathtaking mountain views. Our team is passionate about delivering outstanding service while creating memories that keep guests coming back year after year.
What You'll Do
As a Front Desk Guest Services Representative, you'll be the information hub for our guests and help ensure their visit runs smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests with a friendly, positive attitude
- Sell lift tickets, season passes, and tubing tickets
- Assist guests with lesson registrations and rental information
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries professionally
- Provide accurate information about mountain operations, conditions, and events
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and courteously
- Process transactions accurately using our point-of-sale system
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional guest services area
- Work closely with other departments to deliver an exceptional guest experience
Qualifications:
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for customer service
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable handling cash and processing transactions
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
- Basic computer skills
- Previous customer service, hospitality, retail, or ski industry experience is helpful but not required
