Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Technician to support electronics assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and installation activities. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working with electronic components, wiring, soldering, and technical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, and test electronic components and equipment.
• Perform wire and cable assembly, soldering, and mechanical component placement.
• Troubleshoot and repair electronic assemblies as needed.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, engineering drawings, and technical procedures.
• Support field-site installations and testing activities.
• Document work progress and provide daily status updates.
• Transport materials and equipment between work locations as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of electronics technician experience.
• General knowledge of computer and communications-related electronics.
• Experience with electronics assembly, soldering, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Electronics trade school coursework.
• Military electronics training or related experience.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to alternate between sitting and standing throughout the workday.
• Ability to move between work locations and transport materials.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.

Additional Information

• Driving a company vehicle may be required for on-campus transportation.
• Must be eligible and willing to apply for a U.S. government security clearance. A clearance is not required to start, but the application process includes a government background investigation.
