Shipping and Receiving Assistant

The Shipping and Receiving Assistant supports the Warehouse Manager by processing mixed shipments, inspecting incoming materials, labeling goods, and handling materials efficiently. This role uses a warehouse management system for daily shipping and receiving activities and may operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Process mixed shipments accurately and efficiently.
• Inspect received shipments for condition and accuracy.
• Label shipments and materials according to established procedures.
• Handle, move, and organize warehouse materials.
• Operate a forklift as needed.
• Record and update shipment information in the warehouse management system.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in shipping and receiving.
