Start Date: November 9, 2026
End Date: February 6, 2027
Contract Length: 12 Weeks
Pay Rate: $46/hour
Estimated Weekly Gross: $1,656 (36 hours/week)

Job Details

• Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Specialty: Long-Term Care (LTC)
• Shift: Night shift listed; true rotating day/night schedule
• Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week
• Guaranteed/Expected Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 12 hours
• Meal Break: 30 minutes
• On-Call: No
• Weekends/Holidays: Every other weekend and holiday

Requirements

• Active South Dakota or Compact LPN license in hand
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of LTC or nursing home experience
• Flu vaccination documentation required
• Personal and medical flu declinations are not accepted
• Religious flu declinations will be reviewed by Avera Health
• Candidates previously employed as permanent employees by Avera or Sanford are not eligible for submission
