Restaurant Shift Leader

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic, hands on and reliable Shift Leader to join our growing team. As a Shift Leader you will play a crucial role in leading the team, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our guests. You will be responsible for opening and closing duties, cash handling, labor and inventory management, enforcement of company policies. Various tasks in a fast-paced hands on environment including: assisting customers, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting kitchen operations. Must be able to lift upwards of 40 Lbs. If you have a passion for food service and enjoy working in a collaborative team setting we would love to hear from you! (*$20.00/hr base wage + average tips of $3-4/hr) and is full time. If selected be willing to submit to a background check as well as drug test.

Responsibilities

• Working as part of a flexible team including cooking, baking and assembling orders as needed
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their needs.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the café and kitchen areas.
• Assist with food preparation and ensure that all food items are fresh and presented well.
• Buss tables and clean dining areas to ensure a welcoming environment for guests.
• Help manage inventory levels by restocking supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.

Skills

• Previous experience as a Lead or Manager required 1 Year minimum
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Basic math skills, including retail math, to handle transactions accurately.
• Experience in food service or kitchen operations is required.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices to maintain a clean work environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere.
• Flexibility to adapt to various roles within the café setting.
