Radiologic Technologist

The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to help healthcare providers evaluate and diagnose patient conditions. This role prepares patients, operates radiographic equipment, and supports accurate, high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations according to established protocols.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain the examination process, and address questions or concerns.
• Position patients accurately to obtain clear, diagnostic images.
• Operate and maintain radiographic equipment safely and effectively.
• Apply radiation safety practices to protect patients, staff, and yourself.
• Review images for quality and completeness before submitting them for interpretation.
• Document procedures and patient information accurately in the appropriate systems.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
