Location: Kodak, TN
Salary: $60,000–$70,000 annually

Job Summary

We are seeking an entry-level Process Engineer to join one of our manufacturing clients in Kodak, TN. This role is ideal for a recent engineering graduate with internship experience or someone with 1–2 years of manufacturing experience. The Process Engineer will spend significant time on the production floor identifying opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, troubleshoot equipment and production issues, and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, quality, and productivity.
• Work directly with production teams and operators on the manufacturing floor to troubleshoot issues and optimize processes.
• Support manufacturing operations involving CNC machinery, grinders, PLC-controlled equipment, and other automated machinery.
• Utilize problem-solving tools and root cause analysis to identify and resolve production issues.
• Analyze process data and recommend improvements to reduce scrap, downtime, and defects.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, maintenance, and production teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with developing and updating process documentation and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or a related discipline.
• Internship experience in manufacturing or 1–2 years of relevant industry experience preferred.
• Familiarity with root cause analysis, problem-solving methodologies, and continuous improvement tools.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Comfortable working hands-on in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Exposure to CNC machinery, PLC-controlled equipment, or automated manufacturing processes is a plus.
