Automation Personnel Services is seeking an experienced Millwright to support a large-scale construction project in Orlando, FL. The ideal candidate is a Millwright with mechanical assembly experience, preferably in power plants or outage work. We are looking for someone experienced with turbine reassembly, bearings, industrial fans, rigging, alignment, precision measurements, and torquing who is safety-focused, reliable, and comfortable working extended outage schedules.

We are looking for someone experienced with turbine reassembly, bearings, industrial fans, rigging, alignment, precision measurements, and torquing who is safety-focused, reliable, and comfortable working extended outage schedules.

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. Must be available for overtime, also travel pay and stay out of town for long periods of time.

Millwright Duties and Responsibilities
- Assemble and install steam and gas turbine components, including bearings, seals, packing, casings, and related equipment.
- Install and assemble SCR system components and industrial fans, including catalyst modules, shafts, impellers, couplings, dampers, and actuators.
- Perform equipment alignment and precision measurements using dial indicators, laser alignment systems, micrometers, calipers, and feeler gauges.
- Assist with rigging and lifting operations using chain falls, hoists, slings, shackles, jacks, and crane-lift hand signals.
- Follow OEM procedures, mechanical drawings, torque specifications, LOTO, confined-space, fall-protection, and other plant safety requirements while documenting completed work.
Millwright Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of industrial millwright or mechanical assembly experience, preferably in power plant environments.
- Hands-on experience with steam or gas turbine reassembly and mechanical components.
- Experience installing and working with bearings, shafts, impellers, couplings, seals, and related rotating equipment.
- Ability to use precision measuring tools, including micrometers, feeler gauges, dial indicators, and calipers.
- Familiarity with dial-indicator and laser alignment, including shimming and soft-foot checks.
- Knowledge of rigging and lifting equipment, including chain falls, hoists, slings, shackles, jacks, and crane hand signals.
- Strong understanding of plant safety procedures, including LOTO, confined-space entry, fall protection, hot-work permits, and JHA participation.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training is a plus. Must be available to work extended shifts, nights, weekends, and travel for outage schedules.
