Inventory Clerk

We are seeking a dependable and organized Inventory Clerk to support daily warehouse and inventory operations on a temporary basis. This position will work closely with warehouse and purchasing personnel to receive materials, maintain accurate inventory records, and keep the warehouse organized. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable using computer systems, and able to handle the physical requirements of a warehouse environment. This position is a 3- month contract assignment and will pay between $20 and $24/hr.  This assignment is open to a 32 hour or 40-hour work week.

Job Duties:

• Receive incoming materials and verify shipments for accuracy
• Enter and record inventory receipts in the system
• Put away materials in designated warehouse locations
• Organize and maintain inventory to support efficient daily operations
• Assist with vendor returns and inventory transfers
• Help monitor inventory movement and maintain accurate records
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse
• Provide general support to warehouse and purchasing staff as needed
• Assist with other inventory-related duties and projects

Requirements:

• Previous inventory, warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material handling experience preferred
• Comfortable using computers and learning inventory software
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to perform physical warehouse duties, including handling and moving materials
• Dependable with the ability to follow established processes and instructions
• Willingness to learn; training can be provided for the right candidate
