Clinical Pharmacist - Hospital Pharmacy

Join a healthcare team providing pharmaceutical care to support medication safety and positive patient outcomes. This role combines clinical pharmacy responsibilities with collaboration across the healthcare team and includes a rotating weekend commitment.

Location: Great Bend, Kansas

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Schedule: Monday–Friday between 7:30 AM and 5:00 PM; every fourth weekend, half-day shifts

Responsibilities

- Review medication orders for accuracy, safety, and appropriateness.

- Provide medication-related guidance to healthcare professionals.

- Monitor drug therapy and identify potential interactions or medication-related concerns.

- Support medication safety and compliance with pharmacy standards.

- Educate patients and clinical staff about medications when appropriate.

- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the care team.

Requirements

- Pharmacy degree.

- Active pharmacist license.

- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree preferred.

- Pharmacy residency experience preferred.
