MRI Technologist – Breast Imaging

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused MRI Technologist to perform breast MRI examinations for high-risk patients and individuals recently diagnosed with breast cancer. The ideal candidate will prioritize patient safety, image quality, and excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform breast MRI scans according to established protocols.
• Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Review medical histories and verify MRI safety, including implant compatibility.
• Insert IVs and administer contrast agents as authorized.
• Assist radiologists with MRI-guided breast biopsy procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.

Requirements

• Current state licensure or registration appropriate for the role.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Breast MRI experience preferred but not required.
