Forklift Operator

We are seeking a Forklift Operator to support seed packaging and warehouse operations. This role is responsible for safe forklift operation, material handling, inventory control, and accurate tracking of goods using warehouse management systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and complete required equipment inspections.
• Move, load, and unload materials and transport vehicles accurately.
• Perform routine forklift maintenance and cleaning.
• Track material movement and locations using WMS, PCs, and scanners.
• Support sampling, inventory counts, scale reading, and warehouse cleaning.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow safety standards and initiate emergency procedures when necessary.

Required Qualifications

• At least one year of warehouse experience.
• Familiarity with WMS, PCs, and scanners.
• Ability to count inventory accurately, read scales, and perform basic math.
• Strong attendance, reliability, communication, customer service, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work safely in confined spaces and remain alert while operating equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least one year of forklift operation experience.
• Prior forklift certification.
• Experience in agricultural or seed packaging environments.
