Weekend Machine Operator

**Now Hiring: Saddle Tee Machine Operators Mount Vernon, OH!**

Mancan is partnering with a local manufacturing company to hire **Saddle Tee Machine Operators** for a production role. This position involves manufacturing a variety of Saddle Tee components using manual and semi-automatic machines. Unlike highly repetitive production jobs, operators in this cell work with multiple part numbers, product configurations, and changing production requirements throughout each shift.

This is a great opportunity for candidates who are mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, adaptable, and eager to learn multiple manufacturing processes!

**Schedule:**

- FridaySunday, 5:00 AM5:30 PM.
- Mandatory overtime as needed, including the possibility of working up to 7 days per week through the end of peak season.
- Training on 1st shift for approximately 48 weeks before transitioning to the weekend shift.

**Pay:**

- $18.50/hour.

**Job Duties:**

- Set up and operate manual and semi-automatic machines, as well as an air hammer when needed.
- Manufacture a variety of Saddle Tee components according to production requirements.
- Read and interpret work instructions and blueprints.
- Follow production schedules and adjust to changing priorities.
- Use measuring devices as needed to ensure accurate production.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards.
- Learn and transition between different products, part numbers, and manufacturing processes.
- Troubleshoot basic production issues and maintain an efficient workflow.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and quality standards.
- Work collaboratively with team members in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Cross-train on multiple operations as needed.

**Requirements:**

- Previous manufacturing, industrial, fabrication, or production experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions and blueprints.
- Ability to use measuring devices accurately when needed.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to adapt to changing products, processes, and production priorities.
- Ability to lift 40+ pounds regularly.
- Previous forklift experience preferred.
- Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn, cross-train, and work overtime as needed.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment while meeting production goals.
