LOCATION: Merced, Turlock & Modesto, CA
JOB TYPE: Full-Time
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts; 8 AM-5 PM, Wednesdays 9 AM-6 PM
SETTING: Clinics, long-term care facilities (LTCs), and skilled nursing facilities (SNFs)
PATIENT VOLUME: Approximately 22-25 patients/day

SUMMARY

Provide specialized podiatric care for patients in clinic and long-term care settings, treating foot, ankle, and lower-extremity conditions while collaborating with other healthcare professionals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Diagnose and treat foot, ankle, and lower-extremity conditions.

• Provide wound care and management.

• Prescribe medications and orthotic devices.

• Educate patients on foot health and preventive care.

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient confidentiality.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited school.

• Completion of a Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency.

• Board certified or board eligible in Podiatry.

• Active state Podiatry license.

• Current BLS and DEA required.

• Strong clinical, communication, critical-thinking, and interpersonal skills.

• Senior care or teaching hospital experience advantageous.
