Physical Therapist (PT) - Travel Positions - Urgently Needed!

Job Summary

We are seeking skilled and dedicated Physical Therapists (PTs) for immediate travel opportunities across California. The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, provide therapeutic interventions, and monitor patient progress to improve mobility, strength, and functional independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans based on their needs and functional goals.
• Provide appropriate therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall physical function.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Document patient evaluations, goals, progress, medical necessity, daily treatment notes, and physician reports accurately and promptly.
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and therapy aides in accordance with applicable state regulations.

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy education program or equivalent education accepted for licensure.
• Current, valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of practice.
• Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Leadership and supervisory skills for guiding Physical Therapist Assistants and aides.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and teamwork abilities.
• Computer skills for clinical documentation and reporting.
• Current CPR certification, as required by the facility.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently using proper techniques.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.
• Ability to assist patients safely and move wheeled equipment within clinical settings.
• Sufficient vision, hearing, and fine motor skills to perform patient assessments, operate therapeutic equipment, and maintain clinical records.
