Dothan, AL | Acute Care (Level II Trauma Facility)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12 or 4x12 hours (18:45–07:15) | Block scheduling may be accommodated based on facility needs

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting within a Level II Trauma Facility
• Maintain a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio in accordance with unit standards
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using EPIC electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Complete required pre-start modules prior to assignment begin date (non-billable time)

Required Qualifications

• Active Alabama RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Experience working in large healthcare facilities
• Every other weekend (EOW) availability required
• Must live at least 90 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates will not be accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience preferred; highly experienced candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis
• Prior experience with EPIC charting system
• Background in ICU or critical care nursing within a high-acuity or trauma environment
