Transport Care Specialist

Lizarraga Mortuary Transport is looking for a compassionate and dependable Transport Care Specialist to join our team in Bullhead City, and Kingman AZ. Locations: Bullhead City and Kingman, Arizona

PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING: THIS IS AN ON-CALL POSITION, NOT A REGULAR 9-5 JOB.
Our drivers must be available when scheduled for on-call duty. Typical on-call shifts run from 8:00 AM till 8:00 AM till your scheduled day off. 

Responsibilities:

• Perform respectful and dignified transportation of deceased individuals to and from designated locations
• Coordinate pickups and transfers with funeral homes, hospitals, hospice facilities, and medical examiners
• Maintain accurate documentation and chain-of-custody records for all transports
• Ensure transport vehicle is clean, stocked, and properly maintained at all times
• Handle remains with the utmost care, following all safety and compliance protocols
• Communicate professionally with families, staff, and facility personnel
• Respond to on-call transport requests in a timely and reliable manner

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Prior experience in mortuary transport, funeral services, or a related field preferred
• Ability to lift and move up to 150+ lbs with proper equipment and assistance
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to documentation procedures
• Professional, compassionate demeanor with a high level of discretion
• Availability for on-call, evening, and weekend shifts as needed
• Ability to work independently and handle sensitive situations with composure
