About the Role:
Jefferson Dental Health PC is looking for a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our growing team in Watertown, NY! Responsibilities:

• Perform routine dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures
• Conduct oral health assessments, including periodontal charting and oral cancer screenings
• Take and review dental X-rays (radiographs) in accordance with safety protocols
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Document patient records accurately using dental practice management software
• Collaborate with dentists to develop and implement individualized patient treatment plans
• Apply preventive treatments such as fluoride and dental sealants

Requirements:

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of New York (or eligibility to obtain)
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience with dental radiography and digital X-ray systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Experience with dental practice management software is a plus
