The Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA) Systems Engineer (SE Level II) will support the AF/SA Portfolio Engineer in assisting the Director and team members with Integrated International Support Services (IISS). Services delivered by this U.S. Navy customer span the full spectrum of design, acquisition, and sustainment, including C4I Systems Requirements Capture, Analysis, Design, Engineering, Integration, Installation, Testing, Training, Logistics, and Life-Cycle Sustainment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Case execution activities from an engineering perspective to include reviewing Significant Security Cooperation Initiatives (SSCI) and Training and Equipment Lists (TEL).
- Engineering analysis to include requirements analysis, Analysis of Alternatives (AoA), Pre-LOR Site Survey, Site Survey, Integration, Installation, and Systems Operational Verification Test (SOVT) support.
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS / EDUCATION:
- Possess a strong MDA background a minimum of three (3) years experience in systems engineering, integration, and MDA systems
- A Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline
- Good communication skills
- Willingness and ability to travel more than 25%.
ADDITIONAL SELECTION CRITERIA / CERTIFICATIONS:
- Must possess a DoD Secret Clearance
- Preference is given to candidates who reside in a Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) as determined by the Small Business Administration (see SBA website)
