$18 per hour x 40 hours
Full-Time | Onsite

We are currently seeking a reliable and patient-focused Patient Services Representative to join our team in Mount Pleasant, SC. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administrative and customer service experience in a medical setting who is passionate about providing excellent patient care.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an outpatient clinic or medical office
• Experience with medical insurance, referrals, and benefit plans
• Proficiency with CS-Link/Epic systems
• Strong ability to read, understand, and follow detailed instructions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, both in person and over the phone
• Greet patients and assist with questions, concerns, and issue resolution
• Check patients in and out, collect co-payments, issue receipts, and reconcile payments
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information in CS-Link/Epic
• Schedule appointments and complete patient registrations
• Process and track referrals and insurance authorizations
• Manage patient and provider correspondence
• Explain policies, procedures, and services clearly to patients
• Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace following department guidelines

Experience:

• Recent outpatient or medical office: 2 years (Required)
• CS-Link: 1 year (Required)
• EPIC: 1 year (Required)
