We’re looking for a dependable CDL Class A Driver to join our team in a permanent, full-time position.
This is a great opportunity for a driver who wants daytime hours, a Monday–Friday schedule, variety in their work, and the stability of a long-term position.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Operate CDL Class A tractor-trailers, primarily dry van equipment
- Operate recycling collection trucks on local routes
- Service recycling containers and collection points
- Assist with emptying recycling bins and containers
- Safely transport and deliver freight
- Load, unload, and properly secure cargo
- Operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Complete driver logs, DVIRs, trip reports, and required documentation
- Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules
- Communicate with dispatch, customers, vendors, and team members
- Report equipment problems, accidents, incidents, and safety concerns
- Keep equipment clean and organized
- Follow all DOT regulations, Hours of Service requirements, and company policies
- Assist with other transportation assignments as needed
✅ QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid CDL Class A License
- Clean and acceptable driving record
- Commercial driving experience preferred
- Dry van experience required
- Ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service
- Ability to safely load, unload, and secure freight
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Good communication skills
- Ability to adapt to different assignments and locations
