Instructional Aide - Attleboro, MA

Experience a rewarding opportunity supporting high school students in an engaging academic environment. This part-time contract position begins as soon as possible and is anticipated to last approximately one month, with the potential for extension based on assignment success.

In this role, you’ll provide essential 1:1 support for a high school student, accompanying them to and from the Excel program at Bridgewater State. Your contributions will ensure the student has every opportunity for success, while you collaborate closely with a dedicated school-based support team.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional preferred
• School-based experience is an advantage; prior work with high school students is a plus
• Must complete all district-required credentialing, clearances, and requirements
• Ability to support students in both school and offsite program settings

Responsibilities:

• Offer direct assistance to a high school student according to their individual education plan
• Accompany the student safely and reliably between the school and the Excel program
• Assist with classroom assignments, organization, and social integration
• Maintain professional communication with instructional staff and the support team
• Foster a positive and supportive environment for student growth

Details:

• Immediate start; approximately a one-month assignment
• Part-time schedule: Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
• Fully onsite, school-based position with travel to and from Bridgewater State
