1:1 Pediatric Classroom Aide | Lake Ozark, Missouri

Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a full-time paraprofessional working 1:1 with a pediatric population. This contract position will start as soon as possible and continue through the end of the school year. You'll partner closely with students facing complex behavioral challenges, assisting them throughout their day and promoting growth both academically and personally.

Key qualifications:

• Experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar educational support role
• Background in working with children exhibiting challenging behaviors, preferably 1:1

• Patience, flexibility, and ability to build rapport with children and staff
• Dependable, professional, and compassionate attitude
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Main responsibilities:

• Provide individualized support for assigned student during classroom activities
• Assist with implementing behavior intervention plans
• Collaborate closely with teachers and related service providers
• Redirect behaviors and model positive social skills
• Help with daily routines, transitions, and communication needs
• Support documentation and daily progress reports
• Maintain respect, confidentiality, and positive relations with the school community
