Litigation Associate

Seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 2-10 years of practice experience, specializing in civil rights and employment discrimination defense and general liability defense.

• This is an excellent opportunity to gain extensive litigation experience in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies, while receiving training and mentorship from experienced litigators.

• The Associate will manage their own caseload and handle various aspects of civil litigation, including court appearances, hearings, oral arguments, document discovery, depositions, complex legal research, and drafting motions and other written submissions. The role will also involve handling student disciplinary hearings and appeals.

• The firm offers a collaborative work environment focused on attorney growth, skill development, and exposure to all aspects of civil litigation.

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

• Admission to practice law in New York.

• Strong academic credentials.

• Excellent legal writing and research skills.

• Excellent oral advocacy skills.

• Demonstrated interest in employment discrimination, civil rights and constitutional law litigation, and/or general litigation.

• Former government attorneys are welcome to apply.
