Qualifications and Experience:

• Prior experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar support role within schools preferred
• Familiarity with BI Level support and/or providing personal care to students
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, specialists, and other staff members
• Strong communication skills and a patient, compassionate demeanor
• Capable of following individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior programs
• Willingness to adapt to the unique needs of assigned students

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students in both classroom and one-on-one settings
• Assist students with personal care tasks as necessary, maintaining their dignity and independence
• Encourage and motivate students to participate actively in educational and social activities
• Follow teacher and specialist instructions to help implement lesson plans and behavior strategies
• Monitor student progress and communicate observations to the educational team
• Support daily routines and maintain a safe, welcoming learning environment
