Instructional Assistant - Belt, Montana

An onsite facilitator is needed to assist a Virtual Special Education Teacher, working directly with students in grades 7 through 12. Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar educational support role is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport with middle and high school students.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially collaborating effectively with both students and remote teaching staff.
• Resourcefulness and adaptability to support various learning styles and classroom needs.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise patience at all times.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional relevant training or certification a plus.

Core Responsibilities:

• Facilitate daily on-site learning activities for students under the guidance of a virtual special education teacher.
• Provide direct classroom support to students in grades 7 through 12, ensuring engagement and participation in curriculum.
• Assist with technology setup and troubleshooting to ensure seamless virtual instruction.
• Monitor student progress, providing timely feedback to the virtual teacher.
• Support students in developing academic, social, and behavioral skills as outlined in individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Maintain order and a positive atmosphere within the learning environment.
• Encourage inclusivity and promote a supportive classroom culture.
