Senior Sales Manager  Full Remote- Travel

The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for driving profitable growth across assigned customers while leading, coaching, and developing a team of account managers. This role combines direct management of key customer relationships with sales team leadership, strategic account planning, business development, and commercial execution to support the company's growth objectives. Travel is expected to be 30–40%.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive profitable sales growth through strategic account planning, new business development, and customer relationship management
• Manage key customer accounts, including negotiations, growth strategies, and issue resolution.
• Lead, coach, and develop account managers to achieve revenue, margin, volume, and pipeline targets.
• Establish sales goals and monitor performance, forecasts, KPIs, and customer growth plans.
• Identify opportunities for innovation, new applications, and market expansion.
• Collaborate with Marketing, R&D, Customer Innovation, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Customer Service to deliver customer solutions.
• Support commercial negotiations and ensure agreements deliver sustainable value.
• Resolve escalated customer issues and implement actions to improve performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 10+ years of progressive sales experience, preferably in food industry
• Proven success in profitable sales growth, account management, and commercial negotiations.
• Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to coach and develop sales teams.
• Strong customer relationship management, strategic planning, forecasting, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
