Express Employment Professionals is partnered with a growing manufacturing company in Minooka, IL and is seeking Industrial Coatings Technicians to join their team. This is a hands-on position for individuals who enjoy working with tools, preparing surfaces, and applying industrial coatings in a production environment.
Responsibilities: - Prepare industrial chutes for coating by cleaning, grinding, sanding, masking, and removing surface contaminants.
- Apply industrial coatings, paints, and protective finishes using spray equipment, brushes, and rollers.
- Inspect chutes before and after coating to ensure quality standards and customer specifications are met.
- Monitor coating thickness, coverage, and overall finish quality.
- Perform touch-ups and repairs as needed.
- Safely operate coating equipment and material handling equipment.
- Assist with moving, loading, and positioning large chute components throughout the production process.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety procedures, environmental regulations, and workplace policies.
- Previous experience in industrial painting, coatings, manufacturing, construction, sandblasting, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to lift, move, and work with large materials and components.
- Comfortable working in a production or industrial environment.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
