The Prep Cook will support restaurant kitchen and catering operations under the direction of the Kitchen Manager. This role will focus on produce and salads, along with general kitchen preparation, while maintaining efficient, sanitary, and food-safe kitchen practices. The position offers opportunities for cross-training across stations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for restaurant and catering operations.
• Cut and portion vegetables according to recipes and production needs.
• Prepare produce, salads, and other general kitchen items.
• Store food properly and maintain organized inventory.
• Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment needs.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
• Maintain kitchen sanitation and follow food safety practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in food preparation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Food Handler certification.
• Knife skills and knowledge of food safety.
• Ability to measure recipes and control portions.
• Kitchen equipment operation skills.
• Strong time management and teamwork skills.
