We are hiring Construction Cleanup Technicians to support large commercial construction projects. This position is ideal for candidates with construction, general labor, restoration, environmental services, or industrial cleaning experience who enjoy active, hands-on work in a team environment.

This role plays an important part in keeping construction sites clean, safe, and ready for ongoing work by removing dust, debris, and construction materials throughout various phases of the project.

Responsibilities

Clean interior construction areas from floor to ceiling, including walls, structural steel, equipment, and other surfaces

Remove dust, dirt, and debris using vacuums, mops, brooms, brushes, and cleaning equipment

Pressure wash outdoor surfaces, equipment coverings, panels, and other designated areas

Use ladders, scissor lifts, boom poles, and other equipment to access hard-to-reach areas

Work safely around active construction activities and multiple trades on-site

Assist with final cleaning and preparation of completed construction areas

Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment

Support team members and supervisors as needed to complete project goals

Qualifications

Previous construction, general labor, industrial cleaning, restoration, environmental services, or related experience preferred

Ability to work safely around active construction equipment and multiple trades

Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and perform physical work throughout the shift

Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as needed

Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail

Valid driver's license required

Preferred Experience

Commercial construction experience

Scissor lift or aerial lift experience

Pressure washing experience

Industrial cleaning or environmental services experience

Restoration or remediation experience

Experience working on large-scale construction projects

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
