Housekeeper Supervisor

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the daily housekeeping operations of our health and rehabilitation facility. This role is responsible for leading the housekeeping team, maintaining a clean and sanitary environment, and ensuring resident rooms, common areas, and other facility spaces meet cleanliness and safety standards.

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of housekeeping staff.
• Assign rooms, areas, and cleaning responsibilities to team members.
• Inspect resident rooms, common areas, offices, restrooms, and other areas for cleanliness.
• Train and coach housekeeping employees on proper cleaning procedures and expectations.
• Monitor housekeeping supplies, chemicals, linens, and equipment.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels and communicate supply needs.
• Ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Promote infection prevention and proper sanitation practices.
• Follow facility safety procedures and applicable healthcare cleaning protocols.
• Assist with housekeeping duties when additional support is needed.
• Address housekeeping concerns from residents, staff, and facility leadership.
• Maintain employee schedules and help ensure adequate shift coverage.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate department.

• Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and sanitation procedures.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees, residents, and facility leadership.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and perform physical housekeeping duties throughout the shift.

• Previous supervisory or team-lead experience preferred.
• Healthcare, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, hospital, or senior-living experience preferred.
• Flexible availability, including occasional weekends or holidays as needed.

The work environment is a health and rehabilitation facility that focuses on maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming space for residents, families, visitors, and staff. The role may require flexible availability, including occasional weekends or holidays as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jupiter, FL.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
