Registered Nurse (RN) – Benton Harbor, MI

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse for a school-based opportunity in Benton Harbor, Michigan. This is a great opportunity for a nursing professional who enjoys working with children and is passionate about supporting student health, safety, and well-being in an educational setting.

Position Highlights

• Provide nursing care and health support to students throughout the school day

• Assess student health needs and respond to illnesses, injuries, and medical concerns

• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and school policies

• Monitor students with chronic health conditions and specialized medical needs

• Develop and follow individualized student healthcare plans as appropriate

• Maintain accurate health records and nursing documentation

• Communicate with families, teachers, administrators, and healthcare providers as needed

• Collaborate with school staff to maintain a safe and supportive learning environment

Qualifications

• Active Michigan RN license required

• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred

• Pediatric or school nursing experience preferred

• Experience supporting students with special healthcare needs is a plus

• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the school team
