About this job
Job Description
Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity providing expert behavioral analysis services in a supportive educational environment. This full-time position serves K-8 students all within one building, allowing for meaningful collaboration and consistency throughout your workday. Surrounded by a dedicated team of social workers, behavior technicians (BTs)/registered behavior technicians (RBTs), and special education teachers, you’ll have the support you need to excel and create positive outcomes.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Prior experience in schools or with K-8 populations preferred
- Strong communication and training skills for working with staff and teams
- Ability to conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and provide actionable consultations
- Collaborative mindset and comfort in a multi-disciplinary environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver ongoing training and guidance to BTs to ensure best practices in behavior interventions
- Complete FBAs and develop effective behavior intervention plans in collaboration with the school team
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, social workers, and other staff to drive positive student outcomes across various classrooms
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the success of schoolwide behavioral supports
- Focus on program management, staff support, and capacity building—direct 1:1 student work remains the BT’s responsibility
You’ll make a meaningful impact without a heavy caseload of direct 1:1 student sessions, focusing instead on empowering staff and shaping a positive, inclusive learning culture. If you’re passionate about contributing your BCBA expertise in a school committed to collaboration and student support, let’s connect.
Apply today and take the next step in your professional journey, becoming a valued leader in this thriving school community!
