Job Description

If you’re an experienced BCBA interested in working with a dynamic school team, this full-time contract role offers the opportunity to support K–8 students within a single building. You’ll thrive in an environment with robust support, including two social workers, several behavior technicians/RBTs, and a dedicated special education teaching team.

This position emphasizes collaborative practice and professional growth. As the lead BCBA on campus, your primary focus will be on building the capacity of the behavior tech team and consulting with staff. There are no 1:1 student caseloads for this role, allowing you to concentrate on programming, assessments, and staff development.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credentials required
  • Previous experience in a K–8 or similar educational setting preferred
  • Strong skills in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
  • Proven ability to lead, train, and mentor BTs and RBTs
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Compassionate, flexible, and proactive approach

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide training and ongoing coaching to behavior technicians and registered behavior technicians
  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) for students throughout K–8
  • Consult with social workers, special education teachers, and administrators to develop behavior intervention plans
  • Offer professional guidance and support to all staff, ensuring best practices in behavior management
  • Contribute to the planning and development of school-wide positive behavior strategies
  • Maintain documentation and prepare reports as needed

Perks of This Opportunity:

  • Workdays follow the school calendar with consistent, weekday hours
  • Enjoy extensive team support and opportunities for collaboration
  • Focus on consultation and professional development rather than direct student assignment

Take the next step toward making a positive impact in a supportive and well-resourced school community! Apply today to advance your BCBA career and help shape best practices for students and staff alike.

Compensation for this position ranges from $43.50 to $63.50. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
