School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Caryville, Florida

This position is ideal for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) who are passionate about empowering K-12 students to succeed academically and socially.

As an SLP or SLPA in this role, you'll work 35 hours a week beginning in January, covering a leave for the remainder of the academic year. You’ll travel to various school sites, collaborating with staff and families to deliver direct and consultative services that make a positive impact.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current state licensure as SLP-CCC or SLPA
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with a diverse education team
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between locations within the county
• Ability to adapt to a variety of student needs in both individual and group settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assessments, diagnosis, and therapy for K-12 students with communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, IEPs, and progress reports
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to support student progress
• Participate in parent conferences, multidisciplinary meetings, and team planning
• Travel between multiple school sites as required
