Physical Therapist - School Setting in New Bedford, MA

This position begins immediately and continues through June 2027, offering reliable, full-time hours—35 per week with a steady Monday through Friday schedule. Qualifications:

• Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist (MA PT) License required
• Previous experience in school-based settings is preferred
• Strong understanding of pediatric and school Physical Therapy practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized physical therapy plans for K-12 students
• Implement therapy sessions tailored to support mobility, gross motor development, and access to the school environment
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure therapy goals align with educational plans
• Document progress, modify interventions as needed, and participate in IEP/504 meetings
• Provide consultation and training for school staff to promote inclusion and accessibility
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations governing school-based therapy services
