Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Indiana teaching license required.
• English as a New Language (ENL) endorsement required.
• Completion of an approved ENL preparation program or relevant coursework.
• Passing score on the required ENL licensure exam.
• Experience working with K-6th grade students, particularly in special education and multilingual learner settings, is highly valued.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and cultural competency skills.
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet the varied needs of elementary students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to K-6th grade students identified as multilingual learners and/or receiving special education services.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and English language development strategies.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and related service providers to design inclusive classroom experiences.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instruction based on data and established goals.
• Communicate regularly with families, providing updates on student growth and ways to support learning at home.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and school meetings as required throughout the contract term.
