Special Education Teacher - Miamisburg, Ohio

Qualifications:

• Valid and active Special Education Certification in Ohio
• Prior experience in special education settings preferred

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction to a caseload of junior and senior high students, primarily within a resource room and in-class push-in model
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in accordance with state and district guidelines
• Utilize evidence-based interventions and accommodations to foster student growth
• Collect and report data on student progress toward their learning goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure students’ success in both resource and mainstream settings
• Maintain clear, consistent communication with parents/guardians regarding progress and needs
