Special Education Teacher - Carmel, IN

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Indiana teaching license
• English as a New Language (ENL) endorsement
• Completion of an approved ENL preparation program or relevant coursework
• Passing score on the required ENL licensure exam
• Experience supporting elementary students (K-6), ideally in special education and/or multilingual learning environments
• Strong collaboration skills, adaptability, and a student-centered approach

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop, adapt, and deliver instruction for K-6 students with diverse learning needs, including those acquiring English
• Implement IEP and ENL/MLL accommodations, modifications, and interventions
• Work collaboratively with general education teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement
• Track progress, document service delivery, and participate in IEP and language development meetings
• Create an inclusive, supportive, and engaging classroom environment for all learners
