Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

Job Overview

Join an established healthcare practice in Paradise, California, offering a positive work environment and an excellent patient population. Both new graduates and experienced providers are welcome to apply.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, daytime hours, with flexible 8- or 10-hour shifts. No night shifts; weekend call is shared among 12 providers, typically 1-2 triaged calls per weekend.

Responsibilities and Patient Population

• Adult Primary Care

• Manage an average of 25 patients per day.

• Provide primary care services to adult patients.

• Patient population consists of approximately 50% Medicare and 50% commercial insurance.

• No Medi-Cal/Medicaid patients.

• Pediatrics

• Provide primary care services to pediatric patients.

• Patient population consists entirely of commercially insured patients.

• No Medi-Cal/Medicaid patients.

• Production incentives may be available based on patient volume.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) certification required for NP candidates.

• Valid Physician Assistant (PA) license required for PA candidates.

• PA-C certification preferred.

• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred.

• New graduates and experienced providers are welcome to apply.

• Candidates must disclose any disciplinary actions on their professional record.
