Special Education Teacher - Summerville, South Carolina

This is a full-time contract role, working onsite for 37.5 hours per week from now through June 4th, 2027. Key Qualifications:

• Current and valid South Carolina Special Education (SPED) teaching license
• Previous experience in special education, preferably with cross-categorical or self-contained elementary classrooms
• Strong skills in accommodating and adapting instructional strategies to meet individualized education program (IEP) goals
• Effective communication with students, families, and multidisciplinary staff
• Familiarity with state and district standards for special education service delivery
• Dedicated, flexible, and enthusiastic about supporting students of varying abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver personalized instruction in a self-contained classroom setting for elementary school students
• Develop and implement IEPs, collaborating with parents and specialists
