Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in Haxtun, CO

This position offers an opportunity to provide expert pharmacy services in a retail setting associated with a hospital, supporting a small but dedicated team. The role requires taking ownership of pharmacy operations during coverage dates in late November.

Location:

• Haxtun, Colorado

Schedule:

• November 24th, 25th, and 27th
• Pharmacy hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, with a 1-hour lunch break

Responsibilities:

• Counseling patients on medication use and safety
• Filling and dispensing prescriptions accurately
• Performing final verification of medications
• Managing the pharmacy independently as if it were your own, ensuring smooth daily operations

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Colorado Pharmacist license
• Recent pharmacy experience preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills

Pharmacy Environment:

• Supportive team consisting of 2 full-time pharmacy technicians and 1 PRN pharmacist
• Approximately 500 prescriptions processed weekly, offering a manageable volume for quality patient care
