What you bring:

• Active RN license in Texas
• Prior pediatric experience, especially in a school or educational setting
• Proficiency with ventilator care, troubleshooting, and emergency response
• Strong communication abilities to collaborate with educators, healthcare providers, and families
• Empathy, patience, and adaptability to support the unique challenges and achievements of your student

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver attentive, specialized nursing care for a middle school student with ventilator dependence throughout the school day
• Monitor and manage all health aspects, ensuring timely ventilator interventions
• Maintain detailed documentation and reports consistent with medical and school requirements
• Serve as a knowledgeable resource for staff, offering training or support as needed
• Communicate effectively with family and staff to coordinate care plans
• Promote the student’s engagement, safety, and inclusion within daily school activities
