Special Education Teacher | Littleton, Colorado

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid and active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Education Teaching certification
• Experience working in moderate to severe special education settings preferred
• Deep understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and differentiated instruction
• Strong communication skills for effective teamwork with staff, students, and families
• Passion for creating an inclusive, engaging, and supportive classroom environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and adapt lessons and activities to meet the unique needs of students with moderate to severe disabilities
• Create a positive, structured, and nurturing learning atmosphere
• Collaborate with fellow educators, paraprofessionals, and support staff to ensure student success
• Assess student progress, document outcomes, and adjust strategies as needed
• Communicate regularly with families and related service providers to support holistic student growth

This role is onsite only, supporting students in person each day at a dynamic school. You’ll have the chance to work closely within a team of passionate special education professionals, making a difference one learner at a time.
