Per Diem Pharmacist | Fort Jones, California

A retail pharmacy in Yreka, CA is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to support high-volume operations on a per diem basis. This opportunity offers the chance to work a full day shift in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on accuracy and customer care.

Schedule/Hours:

• 9 AM to 6 PM, per diem

Responsibilities:

• Perform all retail pharmacist duties including accurate dispensing of medications
• Manage a high-volume workload, processing 400–500 prescriptions daily
• Utilize and navigate the recently implemented PioneerRx software system
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations
• Provide excellent customer service and patient counseling

Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist in the state of California
• Recent experience as a pharmacist, preferably in retail settings
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume pharmacy
• Proficiency or willingness to learn PioneerRx software

This role requires someone who can confidently handle a busy store environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism. The position is per diem, offering flexibility with work days.
